Our centres focus on developing community services, providing safe and inviting places for local residents to meet, and establishing networks with communities from all ages and backgrounds.
The Community Awards are held once a year and are a celebration of local success, achievements, special talents, and voluntary contributions of people living across the area.
Our ‘Community Sector Learning Programme’ is designed to assist people with gaining employment in the community sector, equipping them with the relevant skills, knowledge, and experience required.
Connecting faith centres from across Sandwell, we are committed to improving centres participation in community development including communication, inclusion, and volunteering.
iSandwell is a collaborative project between Sandwell Council, community organisations, and residents that looks to encourage the use of digital tools in the region.
Our Personal Employment Coaching service gives advice and support to the unemployed members of our community, with services such as our personal diagnosis and action planning, our one-to-one help, and job application support.
At the heart of our Sports in Friends programme we create social connections, friendships, and increase confidence amongst our youth. We recognise the positive social benefits rather than the competitive side of sports, so we encourage different community groups to come enjoy our various sports activities and help them to break down barriers, empower them, and create friendships.
