Sandwell Community Hubs is commissioned by the Sandwell Council to manage and operate two community centres in Sandwell: Cradley Heath Community Centre and the Hurst Road Community Centre. In addition to providing room hire and community facilities, the Sandwell Community Hubs is also committed to:

Providing an inviting, accessible and safe community facility as a focal point for all residents and groups to meet.
Developing community services that the address the social, cultural, recreational, welfare, and educational needs of the neighbourhood, which includes needs of those from non-English speaking groups.
Establishing networks with groups, community leaders, and agencies to pool resources and take up issues of concern for the benefit of the community in the neighbourhood.
Administering the centre to operate efficiently, ensuring financial and community accountability.
Establishing strategic partnerships with key agencies, and in particular, Sandwell Council.
Establishing a skilled team of workers to function as an essential support for the centres service delivery and operations.
Providing information to residents about their rights, community services available, and referral assistance to the relevant agencies for individuals who need help.
Promoting strong membership of the centre so that it is representative of the local community, its issues and its needs, and that the centre is viable in the long term as a community service provider.
